Karl Lagerfeld signs new collection for Hogan
CHANEL’s Creative Director, Karl Lagerfeld presented this week in Paris its fourth capsule collection for Italian casual shoemaker Hogan. Lagerfeld re-interpreted in a couture manner the ”Interactive” shoe designed by Hogan founder Diego de la Valle, adding embroidery to leather. Each piece has been carefully assorted with a sophisticated matching bag, the result being a luxurious collection for Hogan.
Tod’s Group, which owns Hogan, posted a sales increase of 13.7%, for a total turnover of nearly 894 million euros (versus 787 million in 2010). This strong performance was first enjoyed by its flagship brand, Tod’s, which represents more than half of its sales in 2011 and closed with an increase of nearly 20% (487 million euros).
