Kao Group (Kanebo, Molton Brown) Q1 profit doubles

Japanese based beauty and wellness group Kao which owns brands such as Kanebo and Molton Brown reports its net profit has doubled in the first quarter reaching 179 million euros, thanks to an 18% rise in revenue (2,4 billion euros). The Japanese cosmetics market has performed particularly well for the group reporting a 22% increase in sales.
