Hermes to open re-furbished Beverly Hills store, September 4

Following an extensive 18 month renovation, Hermès is re-opening its Beverly Hills store on September 4th. Located at 434 North Rodeo Drive, the store will be recognizable by its distinctive white marble, ice cube tray-like façade.  Designed by Paris-based RDAI, which is responsible for all of the Hermès boutiques, the interior features innovative design features, including a white marble spiral staircase in the atrium that leads to “a roofless roof” made possible by a “membrane air cushion, which sits invisibly over the circular opening.

To celebrate the re-opening on Rodeo Drive, Hermès has created a limited edition collection of special items including a blue leather basketball and swimming pool-inspired silk scarves, in line with the brand’s advertising campaigns for 2013 which headline: A Sporting Life.
