HERMES registers 18.5% growth and becomes most successful brand to defy crisis
HERMES announces this week an increase in sales of 18,5% on all its product categories. Sales results have been driven mostly by strong sales in its directly operated retail network but also a steady recovery in its wholesale channels. The best results have been achieved by its perfumery (+38,1%) and watches (+35,8%). Its home collections registered a remarkable 22,2% sales increase. Leather and accessories progressed by over 20%.
HERMES’s results are unmatched by any of its competitors, thus becoming the best performing luxury brand during the current crisis. Hermes’s performance is mainly due to its coherent strategy which draws on heritage, manufacturing products of the highest quality and using the best quality raw materials.
