Harvey Nichols London launches new beauty concept, The Beauty Lounge

Harvey Nichols London opened the doors to its new Beauty Lounge, as part of renovation works of a new Beauty and Accessories department on the ground floor of the flagship. Following a 10 month refurbishment, the 1,207 sq m space features the retailer’s new design concept, which moves away from the traditional branded shopfits and instead offers a more sophisticated and elegant interior akin to a luxury boutique.

Designed by Virgile + Partners, the new concept features the Beauty Lounge, a dedicated area that is open early morning until late, offering express services from blow dries to manicures. Customers can relax in a luxurious and discreet environment while being pampered. A pop-up space will showcase a curated series of brand installations, immersive customer experiences and new launches.

The new Beauty Concierge transforms the service offer through impartial advice across all brands, elevating the customer experience to create a destination for beauty education in London. Ground Floor Beauty offers more than 130 brands from the best edit of niche, new-to-market and global beauty brands. New brands include Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Dior and Hourglass.

A new Fragrance space will open in September, housing more than 50 of the finest selection of niche, bespoke and global brands. November will see the final phase of the ground floor re-open with new areas dedicated to the best edit of international accessories, fine jewellery and sunglasses.
