Gucci to launch home collections
In an interview to MFfashion, Francois Henri-Pinault, CEO of Kering Group, world’s third largest luxury group, indicated the U.S. market as being a priority for the group: ”The U.S. is a great community with different cultural heritages where the diversity of cultures gives a great dynamism to the country”
Pinault added that, after China, Kering Group relies on the U.S. market for future growth. The sales of the group are divided as follows: 30% in the U.S., 30% in Europe and 30% in Asia.
And while he announced that his company has no future acquisition plans, he has revealed that in the future, Gucci will launch an extensive Home Collection product range.
Earlier this year, a first strategic step was taken in this respect, Kering Group acquiring heritage porcelaine maker Richard Ginori, founded 1735 and based outside Florence.
