GUCCI re-opens Milan flagship with hi-tech features

To mark its 90th birthday, Gucci has chosen Milan Fashion Week to inaugurate its recently renovated flagship store in Milan, on famous Via Montenapoleone. The new Gucci store features revolutionary GIRE, the Gucci Immersive Retail Experience, with fifty 45” and 50” LCD video walls that create life-size interactive images. 

Video walls will feature real time fashion shows and approaching customers can share with friends images of products on their smartphones. The new technologies are meant to improve shopping experience, turning it more into entertainment.

The newly re-opened Milan flagship store of GUCCI follows the new interior concept of Creative Director, Frida Giannini. The traditional Gucci interior materials such as rosewood and marble are complemented by fluted glass, polished gold, smoked mirrors and glass, evoking the elegance and luxury of the Art Deco. The Gucci Milan flagship which covers 1.600 sqm on three floors includes ready to wear, bags, shoes, accessories, luggage, jewellery, watches as well as the Gucci Baby collection.
