Grand Hyatt Hong Kong reopens following multi-million dollar renovation
Grand Hyatt Hong Kong announces the completion of an extensive multi-million dollar renovation that spanned over a period of four years. Since the hotel opened in November 1989, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong has a track record of hosting international dignitaries and Heads of State, the A-list of entertainment world, celebrities and high society, offering 545 luxurious rooms and suites (including two Presidential Suites which are among the largest in Hong Kong), 10 restaurants and bars, a residential spa unique in the city, 21 event venues catering to bold and extraordinary events of all styles and sizes.
The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong which sits at the prime waterfront of Hong Kong Island, offers expansive views of the world-famous Victoria Harbour.
The redesign and interiors were masterminded by BAR Studio who specialises in the design of hotels and resorts throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Following the recently completed renovation, some of Hong Kong’s most sought-after hotel suites which include the two Presidential Suites and five Ambassador Suites have been redesigned to reflect the various personalities of guests who have stayed in the past - guests staying in the same suite layout and size can also choose their preferred styles – “Classic Traditional” or “Contemporary Eclectic”, and “Aristocratic Adventurer” or “Bohemian Chic”.
Guests staying in the suites and on the Grand Club floors of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong will also have exclusive access to a private two-storey club lounge on level 30 and 31. This luxurious lounge offers free-flowing Champagne all day, complimentary breakfast, snacks as well as evening cocktails while being surrounded by carefully-curated contemporary artworks that have been designed to fully expose the guest to all of his or her senses. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the Grand Club Lounge at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong also offers a unique bird’s eye view of the famous harbour as well as the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
