Giorgio Armani plans job cuts at Italian factory

As part of the company’s new brand strategy, 110 out of 180 jobs are expected to be cut at Giorgio Armani Operations in Settimo Torinese, a manufacturing facility specialized in outerwear. The measure comes as the company announced a few months ago that the Armani Jeans and the Armani Collezioni lines will be discontinued and will be integrated in the Emporio Armani Collections.
