Sri Lanka’s Galle Face Hotel is set to unveil its new L’Occitane spa later this year following a 30-month restoration across the hotel. Spanning 12,000 square feet, the space will pay homage to the property’s glamorous love affair with Hollywood. The spa will be home to eight therapy rooms, a nail spa, fitness center, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, and indoor-outdoor relaxation rooms.
A romantic palette of alpine and teal hues combine with soft textures and a crisp and clean aesthetic. Natural, darkly ash-stained wood will accent the cool palette along with Oriental-style rugs, silk screens, and upholstered furniture. Adjacent to the onsite pool bar and terrace, the spa’s outdoor area will be punctuated with daybeds and tropical flora.
