Four Seasons loses property in Bangkok – to be rebranded as Anantara

From March 1, the 354-room Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok on Radjadamri Road will become the flagship for Anantara Hotels & Resorts, officially known as Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel & Spa.

William Heinecke, CEO and Chairman of Minor International, the hotel’s owner, is the founder of the Anantara brand. With the re-branding, Minor International will renovate and refurbish the hotel.

The former General Manager of the hotel, now at Four Seasons Chiang Mai (also owned by Minor) is being brought back to manage it as Anantara Siam.

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts is already developing another project in the Thai capital, Four Seasons Residences at Chao Phraya River.
