Four Seasons Buenos Aires unveils complete 50 million dollar renovation program

Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires has unveiled the final phase of a year-long USD $49 million renovation almost 2years in the making, with a new summer outdoor venue “Nuestro Secreto,” the first all-glass enclosed restaurant in Argentina, new CIELO Spa and seven new meetings and event spaces.

Situated on a rooftop garden between the hotel’s modern tower and historic La Mansión, the “Nuestro Secreto”  Restaurant is a new glass lined, indoor-outdoor venue invites guests to gather for traditional, open-fire barbeques, known as asados, and features a selection of national wines, flavored lemonades, cocktails and more. ”The space is inspired by the way we all like to entertain at home in Argentina,” says Rebeca Selley-Morales, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires.

The hotel’s newly renovated spa, CIELO, which means “sky” in Spanish, features striking white colors, bright lights, and is the only spa in its neighborhood with an outdoor pool surrounded by gardens. CIELO Spa features four treatment rooms, including two doubles, for facials, skin care, body and beauty treatments, hair styling and signature massages.

Argentina’s passion for tango also served as the chief inspiration for the new event spaces, and is reflected in every detail including the names of the rooms. Materials including Palissandro marble, Makassar ebony, bronze, steel, stucco and black galaxy granite are featured throughout, along with colors of beige, brown, dark grey and wine-red. Decorations include abstract paintings by Argentine artists, with pictures by Aldo Sessa evoking tango movements. New equipment, lighting and audio-visual devices have also been installed, while original menus are designed by the hotel’s Executive Chef Juan Gaffuri.
