Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy could manage 250 million euro fund
According to the Financial Times, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has received a formal proposal from Qatari Investment Authority to manage an investment fund of 250 million euros in non-listed companies. Sarkozy and his team would manage investments in emerging markets such as Brazil and Morocco but also in France. He could have cashed over 3 million euros. However, French media indicate that Sarkozy could turn down such a proposal given his renewed political ambitions.
