FOREST ESSENTIALS, in pursuit of eternal beauty
Using age-old Ayurvedic formulations from scholars who practice an austere code and devotion who supply the company with herb ingredients, oil formulas, and Vedic treatments and adding the best ingredients which are all sourced from plants, trees and herbs naturally grown in Indian forests. The ancient Ayurvedic formulations are interspersed with the understanding of a modern biochemist’s point of view to create, with the company’s team, products that have their basis in India’s oldest science but presented in an easy-to-use manner.
Young Indian company FOREST ESSENTIALS has set out in 2000 to re-write the story of eternal beauty. Its beginnings are very much related to manufacturing hand made soaps, made from oils, which were processed using the cold pressed method, leaving the rich nutrients in the oil intact. The Forest Essentials soaps were an instant success, being sold faster than they could be produced, showing there was an integral need fine quality handmade products.
Forest Essentials products are manufactured in the Himalayas, in villages in Uttaranchal, using local labor. The spring water which Forest Essentials uses in its products has therapeutic and regenerative qualities and has been certified by laboratories in France as being rich in mineral deposits, which makes for its unique properties.
I personally discovered the Forest Essentials products while on a recent trip in India and I was amazed by the quality of its products which provide a unique multi-sensory experience, while being extremely effective. The texture and scent of each product is truly impressive and it is for the first time in my life that I used a soap the scent of which I could not only feel on my skin but on clothing, several hours after using them. Every time I would use a Forest Essentials product, I could truly feel the quality of the ingredients not only through their very powerful scent but also through their hydrating, soothing or invigorating effects.
The highlight of Forest Essentials’ facial products are: the advanced Soundarya age defying facial Serum with 24K Gold and the facial tonic mist based on pure rose water. Of the wide range of hair products, I was drawn by the Ayurvedic Herb Enriched Head Massage Oil Sugandha, which have an incredible nourishing and anti fall effect on the hair. As a room aromatherapy diffuser, I use the Belgal Tuberose Oil, which leave an incredibly strong Tuberose scent, both relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I couldn’t be more pleased to discover a piece of Indian tradition while utilizing this product which contains a ”warning” that young Indian girls are not to inhale Tuberose after dark because it would put them in a romantic frame of mind! Since the flowers bloom at night, Tuberose is called the “Mistress of the night” or the “Night Queen.”…
