Fondazione Prada and Qatar Museum Authority launch one of a kind CURATE Award

Fondazione Prada together with Qatar Museum Authority launch a unique art competition entitled CURATE in an innovative global search for curatorial talent.

A world-renowned jury will judge ideas on their creativity and social importance, rewarding those with a contemporary and culturally relevant point of view. They will be looking for an exemplary exhibition that is both far-sighted and critical of the future. The winning curatorial idea will be realised in an exhibition in either or (but not limited to) Qatar and Italy. There are no limits to the form or language in which your curatorial concept can be realised.

The jury is made up of HRH Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani of QMA (daughter of HRH Sheikha Mozah, First Lady of Qatar), Miuccia Prada, Rem Koolhaas – Founder of OMA, Lebanese actress and director Nadine Labaki, Nawal El Moutawakel – first Muslim woman to win an Olympic Gold Medal and Hans Ulrich Obrist.
