Ferragamo posts 17% growth in 2012 surpassing 1 billion euros in sales
Family owned luxury house of Salvatore Ferragamo, based in Florence, Italy reports double-digit growth rates in all its product categories, in 2012, total sales reaching 1,23 billion euros, a 17% increase on 2011. Asia-Pacific remains the largest market for Ferragamo in terms of revenues with sales of € 420 million, an increase of 18% compared to 2011. Sales in Europe reached 289.5 million euros (+21%) while sales in North America grew to 257 million (+16%). The growth in revenues in 2012 follows the steady increase of more than 26 % registered consecutively in 2010 and 2011. Part of the success of Ferragamo is the company’s focus on heritage with classic, timeless design as well as Made in Italy craftsmanship.
