Fendi hosts exhibition dedicated to cinema in Milan
Italian house of Fendi has inaugurated earlier this week an exceptional exhibition dedicated to its long-standing relationship with cinema, entitled ‘Making Dreams’. Fendi has created the costumes for films such as Evita, The Royal Tenenbaum sand The Age of Innocence, also dressed the Bond girls in Die Another Day.
Clips from these films will be on show, as so will the costumes themselves – including vintage fur coats from the archives. The display will also feature photographs of the five Fendi sisters, taken by Lord Snowdon.
The showcase, curated by Patrick Kinmonth and Antonio Monfreda, will be held in Milan’s Cinema Manzoni – one of Italy’s most beautiful cinemas and will run until October 6.
