Fairmont unveils stunning $75 million renovation of Le Château Frontenac’s

Renowned as one of Canada’s most distinctive landmark hotels, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac’s $75 million renovation will be unveiled in full, in June. This includes the renovation of the hotels 611 guestrooms, a newly built Spa du Chateau with seven treatment rooms and signature treatments as well as the expansion of the hotels banquet space which can now accommodate from 10 to 1,000 guests and the renovation of the hotels signature restaurant and bar.

Each of the hotel’s 611 guestrooms have been updated with contemporary luxuries to meet the needs of today’s guests.  Fairmont Gold, the Château’s boutique hotel product, has increased its room count from 46 to 60. The guestrooms are on the hotel’s top floor and have stunning views of Québec City and the St. Lawrence River.  Exclusive services for Fairmont Gold guests include a newly enlarged private lounge, dedicated Concierge and a deluxe continental breakfast and evening canapés.

The newly built Spa du Château has also officially opened its doors.   The seven treatment rooms, exquisite range of signature treatments and a renovated and expanded health club offer guests a welcome escape in a relaxing and soothing environment.

Champlain, the hotel’s signature restaurant offers an innovative menu of Québec cuisine while Le Sam serves creative dishes, afternoon tea and innovative cocktails. 1608 Wine & Cheese Bar offers the largest variety of Québec cheeses, all perfectly matured inside a dedicated cheese room with a selection of quality wines that are offered by the glass.
