Etro pursues international retail expansion
With the occasion of the inauguration of the first Etro Home Collection flagship store in Milan, the company’s CEO Jacopo Etro confirmed his company’s global retail expansion with a focus on China and the U.S. Etro will increase the number of its mono-brand stores in China from 15 to 20 stores by the end of 2014. In the U.S., Etro is opening three new mono-brand stores in Houston, Atlanta and Chicago.
Etro registered a turnover of 300 million euros in 2013, of which the home division registered 10 million euros. The company is planning to launch a capsule furniture collection for Fall/Winter 2014.
