PRADA shows confidence for future and continues investments

News      24 April 2009

Patrizio Bertelli, owner and CEO of Prada recently stated that he is confident in the future development of the Prada brand and distribution network. Asia remains a priority for Prada, with top locations Taiwan, China, Japan and so on. Prada has invested ten million euros in the TRANSFORMER project, a design innovation to be presented at Seul, Korea during this month. Miuccia Prada will personally attend to the official launch of the project and she is confident that this investment will be beneficial in the near future for both Korea and the entire region.
Bertelli also emphasized the exceptional results of Prada in Great Britain, especially because it benefits from the weak British Pound. Good results are also recorded in Australia, where the economy is less affected. Concerning Central and Eastern Europe, Prada has confirmed its plan to open up new stores starting with 2011 (including Romania and Bulgaria)
