Montenegro, a promissing luxury market

Although small in size, Montenegro boasts the third largest segment of wealthy luxury consumers in the Balkans after Serbia and Bulgaria. With a higher affinity for luxury brands than Serbians and Bulgarians, Montenegrans are spending large amounts of cash on top watches and jewelry brands, among the top selling being Chopard, Bvlgari, Cartier and Audemars Piguet. As for the luxury fashion brands, due to la low penetration, locals buy mostly in Milan, brands such as GUCCI and LOUIS VUITTON topping their preference list. The number of luxury cars per capita in Podgorica (capital city) is higher than all other Eastern European cities.
