In a recent interview, Mr Yves Carcelle, CEO of Louis Vuitton has outlined his company's future development strategy. After having recently opened in Mongolia, the first half of 2010 will see openings of Vuitton in Beirut (Lebanon), Helsinki (Finland), and Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). India plays an important part in Vuitton's strategy with 2 new openings in 2010 in Mumbai, one at Taj Mahal Palace & Towers Hotel and another one at Taj land's end. The ''Albert Khan collection journeys to India'' is currently on display in New Delhi until end of January and then it will move to Mumbai. Mr Carcelle also confirmed that Louis Vuitton will participate at the Universal Expo in Shanghai and will be part of the stand dedicated to France. During the exhibition, Vuitton will inaugurate 2 more shops in China.
