French accessories brand Longchamp reported a 26% sales increase reaching a total of 390 million euros in 2011, announcing expansion plans through directly operates stores in the US and China. In addition to its presence at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom department stores in the US, Longchamp will be present at Neiman Marcus and Holt Renfrew by the end of this year. According to WWD, Longchamp will inaugurate later this year its third store in New York at Rockefeller Centre. Longchamp banks its continued positive performance on the launch, in March this year, of the leather versions in 8 colours of its Le Pliage iconic bag.
