Hermès opens in Paris first boutique outside China for its brand Shang Xia

Hermès has recently confirmed the opening of the very first store of its brand Shang Xia outside China. The new Shang Xia boutique in Paris will be located within proximity of the Hermès flagship store in St Germain district on Rue de Sèvres, in an 80 sqm location which was previously occupied by Italian leatherwear brand Furla. Hermès launched in September the Shang Xia brand, which operates separately from the group, with a separate structure and manufacturing.
Hermès also confirmed to AFP that the second Shang Xia store in China will be opened this year in Beijing (the first store was opened in Shanghai). Shang Xia is a contemporary brand founded in 2008 to bring the excellence of Chinese and other Asian craftsmanship into contemporary lifestyle. Shang Xia product selection includes striking furniture, fine decorative elements, exquisit accessories and luxury clothing.
