Emporio Armani to open store in Belgrade (Serbia)

Giorgio Armani SpA will open its first monobrand store dedicated to the EMPORIO ARMANI line in Serbia in September 2010. The EMPORIO ARMANI store will be opened in the Serbian capital of Belgrade in a downtown highstreet location. The operation will be through a local franchisee.
As anticipated by CPP Management Consultants Ltd earlier this year, the Serbian luxury market has been developing despite the current international crisis. BALLY, FREY WILLE, ROLEX opened monobrand shops in Belgrade in 2009, all through a local franchisee. Also in 2009, Slovenian group Sportina opened the largest luxury multibrand store in Belgrade within the USCE Mall located downtown (all brands with shop in shop: ZZegna, D&G, Ralph Lauren, Iceberg, Armani Jeans, Galliano, Ferragamo etc).
