CHRISTIAN LACROIX sees re-birth with men's collection

After the turmoil of the bankruptcy proceedings of the CHRISTIAN LACROIX fashion house, which resulted in the departure of its founder and designer, Sasha Walckhoff took over the creative direction of the brand. He has designed the Spring Summer 2011 men's collection under the Lacroix brand, which is funded by a licensee. Walckhoff has been with the Christian Lacroix company since 1992 and worked closely with the designer himself. The new Lacroix men's line is designed in keeping with the spirit of the French brand and sells at the same prices as any other luxury ready to wear brand. In an interview to US media, Walckhoff said the collection was very well received by the buyers and he is positive of the financial outcome.
