Bulgari Hotels to open in Istanbul

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, a joint venture between Marriott and the Italian jewellery house of Bulgari, is due to open its third European property, in Istanbul, Turkey. According the market sources, the new Bulgari Hotel will be situated on the Bosphorus and will be housed in a hostorical building which will be converted to a luxury hotel with 100 rooms. Bulgari Hotels is schedule to open its London property in June, ahead of the Summer Olympics.
Shangri-La announced last year the opening of a 7 star hotel in Istanbul, due to open 2014, while other announced future projects include a Sofitel and Kempinski.
