Eberhard & Co celebrates its 125 birthday with online installation

Conceived as a sophisticated online installation, Eberhard & Co recreates on its own website a suggestive atmosphere which allows visitors to discover the essence of the house, one of the most exclusive luxury Swiss watchmakers. A bright, spacious lounge, made comfortable by quilted leather Winchester sofas, simple furnishings with just a few pieces of hi-tech design and a single touch of colour, blue is the decor for the virtual tour of Eberhard & Co’s iconic watches.

The virtual visit includes Chrono 4 (the first chronograph in the history of watchmaking to have 4 counters in line),  Grande Taille and Géant (available also in Titanium), then with Chrono Traversetolo in the ‘Vitré’ version, characterized by the transparent case-back that reveals the movement.

The attention then shifts to Scafodat 500, a collection of waterproof watches created for professional divers. The journey continues with a close-up on two other models that strongly represent the Maison, Extra–fort and 8 JOURS, both in the Grande Taille version, the first a real “symbol watch” launched in the 1950s, the second equipped with a device that provides exceptional power reserve.

Towards the end of the main room, one can discover the Gilda Room, housing the ladies’ collection that embodies the essence of the Eberhard & Co. woman: sophisticated, elegant and exclusive.The third and final room, the centre of which is occupied by a gleaming model reproducing a 1937/38 AutoUnion, is dedicated to the collection inspired by the motor-racing legend Tazio Nuvolari.

Through the Brand Experience, Eberhard & Co. invites visitors to live an authentic sensory experience through different, elegant and refined spaces dedicated to the collections that have made the Brand’s history, from 1887 to the present day.
