DORCHESTER COLLECTION to reinforce its position in Paris and London
During a media event at ILTM Cannes today, the COO of luxury hotel group Dorchester Collection, Mr François Delahaye confirmed his company’s acquisition of four adjacent buidlings to Plaza Athenee Hotel, one of the two hotels the groups owns and manages in Paris. Earlier this year, the group’s second hotel, Le Meurice completed a 42 million euro renovation.
This summer, Dorchester Collection also opened its second hotel in London 45 Park Lane, a contemporary design hotel, situated steps within the group’s flagship property, The Dorchester Hotel. Mr Delahaye also confirmed at ILTM that next year will see the gradual roll out of the first renovated suites at The Dorchester Hotel too, reinforcing the company’s presence in London.
Dorchester Collection’s Principe di Savoia Hotel in Milan recently completed a full renovation of its rooms, while the Bel Air Hotel reopened after 2 years of closure for extensive renovations. Dorchester Collection is a luxury hotel chain with 9 properties, of which 8 are majority owned by the Sultan of Brunei and one third party managed hotel, Le Richemond Hotel in Geneva, which has been taken over this summer.
