Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana 1 billion tax evasion trial could be reopened

The Italian Court of Cassation has annulled this week the acquittal of Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, owners of Dolce Gabbana Group, in a 1 billion euro fiscal evasion trial earlier this year.

The high jurisdiction of Italy decided Wednesday to resend the legal file to another judge who would rule whether it will be re-opened.

Together with five other individuals the Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana made a tax evasion of  840 millions d’euros, by creating an interface company in Luxembourg to evade Italian taxation.
