Dior opens in Beijing largest store in China

Dior has recently opened a new store in Beijing in the Chaoyang district, the central business district in Beijing, The two-level store is the largest Dior Flagship in mainland China, as well as the third boutique in Beijing offering the exclusive world of Dior women’s collections including ready-to-wear, cocktail and eveningwear, accessories, shoes, fine jewelry,  timepieces,  and a VIP Lounge.

The Peter Marino designed interiors blend inspiration taken from Dior’s iconic Avenue Montaigne flagship, delivering a timeless take on elegance that showcases the brand’s exquisite attention to detail. Alongside luxurious interior design, a carefully curated group of artworks by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists has been chosen to display throughout the store.

Peter Marino has selected over ten art pieces for the boutique that reflect the codes of the house, enhancing the rich and luxurious atmosphere. These pieces include a bench by Terence Main in the center of the ground floor and a video art wall by Yorame which serves as the back drop. A sculpture “Siamese Metal 5″ from British sculptor Richard Deacon stands by the stairs in the lobby and the work “Waterwall, Roselyn” by Gregory Ryan and table lamps by Véronique Rivemale embellish the jewelry and timepieces section.

On the second floor, the footwear section is adorned by a “Gaia Imprint” Low Table, designed by Vincent Dubourg and a Pae White wall art piece. In the women’s ready-to-wear and eveningwear area, Peter Marino has particularly furnished beautifully crafted classic furniture such as pieces from Guillaume Piéchaud, Paolo Giordano and Timothy Horn, reflecting Dior’s heritage of timeless elegance, luxury and innovation since the beginning. On the same floor, Dior offers an unparalleled level of service and attention with a private VIP salon garnished with two Mineral Commodes designed by Juan & Paloma.
