Club Med to reopen in Cefalu, Sicily

The new resort will open its doors to guests from June 2018 and is sure to be the go-to destination for those looking to relax and embrace the Sicilian-Chic ‘farniente’.

Located on the northern coast of Sicily within a quaint traditional fishing village, Club Med Cefalu boasts breathtaking panoramic views, situated within a natural reserve of rugged cliffs. The picturesque old town, positioned away from crowded hot spots, features charming winding alleys, a dramatic cathedral and beautiful sandy beaches. Amid this stunning location with 180-degree views over the bay, Cefalu will demonstrate Club Med’s innovation, premium guest benefits and personalised services.

For foodie travellers, the resort’s specialty restaurant, the Palazzo Gourmet Lounge, will serve an a la carte dinner menu designed by renowned Michelin four-star chef Andrea Berton. A wine bar will offer cigars, while an in-resort delicatessen in partnership with EATALY will be open throughout the day.

Catering to those guests looking to relax and unwind, Cefalu’s Zen Bar and Zen Pool will be situated in secluded surroundings away from the main area of the resort. It’s the perfect place for peace and tranquillity and to enjoy a nutritious, healthy meal.

Club Med Cefalu takes accommodation to the next level with a selection of Deluxe Rooms, Suites, Villettas and Club Rooms. Each room includes high-end furnishings and the latest technology to ensure the most comfortable and luxurious stay possible. The opening of Cefalu will see the introduction of the first-ever stand up paddle board academy, where guests can take part in group sessions to learn this skill while gliding over the Mediterranean sea.
