CLARKS shoes gaining luxury status?

Fourth largest shoemaker in the world, British based CLARKS posted a stunning GBP 100 million  increase in profits this year, compared to last year. The brand which is knowns for its casual style shoes has been making headlines recently with its innovative Majorca Villa style, chuncky mid-calf suede boots as well as the new collection created in collaboration with retail marketing consultant Mary Portas . The secret behind her collection is that, thanks to a special technology, high heel shoes are extremely comfortable to wear. Increasing demand has made Clarks open waiting lists, similarly to other prestigious shoemakers such as Christian Louboutin or Manolo Blahnik.
