Chanel inaugurates new global flagship store concept in Miami at Bal Harbour Shops
Chanel inaugurates in Miami at Bal Harbour Shops a brand new store retail concept, which draws inspiration from Coco Chanel’s apartment in Paris, with an ultra luxury residential feel. The Chanel re-designed flagship store at Bal Harbour Shops covers 8,000 square feet and features ready to wear and leather accessories, as well as a selection of exclusive high jewellery and watches. One of the highlights of the new store is the selection of bags made of the finest exotic and rare leathers.
Barbara Cirkva, Fashion Division President at Chanel said “We’ve had a long relationship in Bal Harbour and opened our store in 1994. We think Bal Harbour draws a unique clientele and has always been a home for Chanel and will continue to be.”
The new Chanel store boasts a different configuration as well. Before, there were two separate entrances, and now there is one main entryway. Watches and fine jewelry have been integrated into the heart of the fashion boutique. “There’s now an easier, open flow between product categories — we’ve learned that customers enjoy shopping this way,” Cirkva says.
