Central and Eastern Europe – Christmas sales of luxury goods will improve, yet remain below previous year

Christmas sales for luxury goods will see an improvement in all Central and Eastern European markets in comparison with the previous months, yet will remain lower than the levels of 2008.

Ukraine: 25% lower than 2008

Hungary: 10% lower than 2008

Bulgaria: 15% lower than 2008

Romania: 10% lower than 2008

Serbia: 10% lower than 2008

The most affected luxury segments remain:

- luxury cars

- hospitality

- luxury jewelry and watches

- fashion and accessories (multibrand distribution)
