Cassina’s contract division grows by 60 percent

Italian luxury interior company Cassina, a member of the Poltrona Frau Group has recently reported a 60 percent increase in sales for its Contract Division for the first quarter of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011. CASSINA’s Contract Division is specialized in providing furnishings for public spaces, such as hotels, showrooms, restaurants etc. In 2011, Cassina’ Contract Division sales reached 32,7 million euros, respresenting 28 precent of the company’s overall turnover (119 million euros).

In collaboration with famous architecture firms, Cassina’s Contract Division latest projects include: the 282 room luxury Gallia Hotel in Milan (with Marco Piva), Conservatoirum Hotel Amsterdam (with Piero Lissoni), Setai Hotel Fifth Avenue New York, Maria Cristina Resort in San Sebastian. Other landmark projects of Cassina, include The Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris (with Philippe Starck) and Barvika Village (with Antonio Citterio). Cassina has also been closely involved with several flgship stores of Ermenegildo Zegna, Cartier and Salvatore Ferragamo.
