Burberry to open in Baltic countries, first in Latvia

British premium brand BURBERRY is opening its first mono-brand store in the Baltic countries, in Latvia. The new Burberry mono-brand store will be opened in September in the capital of Riga on the prestigious Elisabetes street. The 300 sqm Burberry store in Latvia will be operated in franchising by local Apranga Group, one of the largest fashion retailers in the Baltic countries – the exclusive partner of Inditex Group. Apranga group is made up of 17 companies; the group runs 122 stores in the Baltic countries – 78 in Lithuania, 33 in Latvia and 11 in Estonia. The Apranga Group also operates in franchising Emporio Armani and Hugo Boss.

Future mono-brand Burberry stores will be opened by Apranga in Riga and Tallinn by the end of 2013.
