Burberry opens first Café in London

Burberry has recently opened a café within its flagship on London’s Regent Street, called Thomas’s. Named after Burberry’s founder, Thomas Burberry, the café sits in a new split-level space at the corner of the extended Regent Street store, which also houses a new gifting area.

With seating areas on both floors, the café boasts high ceilings, black-and-white marble floors, black lantern chandeliers and large windows onto Sackville Street. The café offers an all-day menu, with the focus on ingredients sourced from U.K. farmers and artisans.

The gifting area, meanwhile, carries home-furnishing items, games, stationery and travel accessories, including a line of canvas pouches and tote bags printed with a London map pattern exclusive to the Regent Street store. There is also a monogram service, so customers can have flat leather designs monogrammed within an hour, while they browse the store or kick back in the café.
