BURBERRY double retail space in London ahead of Olympics
Burberry will double the size of its Knightsbridge store next to the One Hyde Park development by taking over the old Jaeger store. The retailer will also take over the LK Bennett store on Regent Street and knock through to the Habitat shop next door that it has recently acquired. Property sources said that the block-long stretch of Regent Street will become a "major brand statement" for Burberry.
The company recently inaugurated the first Burberry Brit shop in London’s Covent Garden and plans to open a store Kings Road area.
