Bulgari to open new production facility in Italy

Bulgari will open a new manufacture dedicated to jewelry in Italy in Valenza. The new production facility which covers 14.000 sqm will be the largest in Europe. The plant will increase the production capacity of the brand and will employ an additional 300 people, bringing to 700 the total of professionals engaged in manufacturing. The new facility, which will bring together in one place the activities which are spread across two production sites (in Solonghello and Valenza), will be built thanks to the use of innovative technologies and materials with low environmental impact.

The opening of the complex, which will house administrative and production functions, is expected in the second half of 2016.

In support of ongoing training activities, the ‘Bvlgari Academy’ will be created with a technical school within the site that will accommodate students in internships from schools, as well as new recruits, training improvement.

With the construction of the new factory, which will expand the productive power of the brand and deliver the volumes required to support the growth of the market, the Bulgari Group will have at its disposal the largest manufacture of jewelry in Europe “, said in a statement the CEO fashion house Jean-Christophe Babin.
