BULGARI reports booming sales thanks to a 76% increase in China
Italian jeweller BULGARI, now part of the LVMH Group, reported a 27,5% increase in its turnover for the first three months of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010, reaching a level of 253,8 million euros. Fragrances and jewellery have been the product categories with the highest sales increase, of 32,9% and 29,3% respectively. Positive results are reported for all geographical areas, witth a record 76% increase in China. Overall, Asia has been the fastest growing region for Bulgari, with an overall sales increase of 33,5% for the first three months of 2011. Sales performance in the U.S. was higher than in Europe, with a growth rate of 20,2% coompared with 16,5%.
