Breitling to pursue global expansion with mono-brand stores

Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling inaugurated last week its first flagship store in London, a lavish 2.700 square foot space, on two floors, with a prominent location on New Bond Street in the heart of Mayfair. An in-house watchmaker is available on hand for the servicing needs of customers. From the brand-new Transocean Unitime Pilot watch (£8,460) announced just one day before the event, the new Breitling store features several limited edition timepieces including a Breitling for Bentley in mother-of-pearl and diamond-set piece (£65,000)

The opening event was attended by Breitling brand ambassadors, former football player David Beckham and actor/pilot John Travolta. Breitling plans to open similar directly operated mono-brand stores in Beijing, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, and Miami.
