Bottega Veneta reports record 44 percent sales increase

Italian luxury house Bottega Veneta owned by French PPR Group reported a 44% increase in its turnover for the first half of 2012 compared to the same period last year, reaching a total of 430 million euros. Bottega Veneta has also added 10 new stores in the first quarter of 2012, reaching a total of 180 mono-brand stores worldwide. The company has also announced plans to relocate its Milan flagship store to Via Sant Andrea, the former flagship store of Gianfranco Ferre, thus doubling its existing space.
