Bottega Veneta reports 12,9% increase in first half turnover
Bottega Veneta ended the first six months of the year with an increase in turnover of 12.9% to € 525 million and an operating profit of 163.1 million euro, equivalent to 31% of revenues. Particularly exceptional was the second quarter of the year with total sales of €274.7 million, an increase of 16.1% at current exchange rates.
Bottega Veneta archived the first half of 2014 with 227 directly owned stores compared to 221 at the end of 2013. “I am extremely proud of the excellent performance of Bottega Veneta in the first half of the year,” said Marco Bizzarri, president and CEO of the Luxury – Couture & Leather Goods division of Bottega Veneta parent company, Kering Group. “The consistency of brand positioning is a source of great pride for the group”.
