Bergdorf Goodman presents brand new men’s section

New York’s luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman is celebrating its 111th anniversary this month and part of the celebrations is the launch of the newly renovated men’s sections of the store, just in time for this month’s New York Fashion Week. The men’s shoe section, which was previously housed in a small area towards the back of the store, has now tripled in size, taking over what was once the grooming section. The shoe section is now referred to as The Shoe Library and as the name implies, it is lined with shelves displaying shoes and other curious objects. The Shoe Library features: Tom Ford, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, Giorgio Armani, Alexander McQueen, Jimmy Choo etc.

The third floor, which features designer and contemporary labels like Michael Bastian, Thom Browne and Maison Martin Margiela, has been completely renovated too. It now features men’s only in-store boutiques for brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Dries Van Noten. A denim bar has also been set up, including most luxury denim brands.
