Baccarat aims to double sales by 2018
In an interview to MFfashion.com, Baccarat CEO Daniela Riccardi confirmed her company’s objective to double sales and achieve a turnover of 300 million euros by 2018. In 2012, the company which is owned by Starwood Capital (66.5 %) and Catterton Partners (22 %) achieved sales of 160 million euros.
”I have identified three areas of intervention: categories, countries and channels. For example, the jewelery needs to be developed. Then enhance the decoration and objects. I’m thinking of a limited edition for the fragrance, transporting the concept Baccarat in perfumes. And I think the creation of scarves, with the reproduction of archive drawings.” said Daniela Riccardi.
2014 marks the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, with two landmark projects – the opening of the Baccarat Hotel in New York and a retrospective exhibition which will be hosted at Petit Palais in Paris from October 14, 2015 to January 5, 2015.
