Armani expands internationally store concept dedicated to first line accessories

Following the opening last month in Tokyo, Giorgio Armani SpA is opening in Milan, Spring 2013, its first store concept in Europe exclusively dedicated to accessories of the first line Giorgio Armani. The new opening in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele by the Duomo is part of Armani Group’s recently announced strategy to focus on accessories, especially for the first line, which are made in Italy. The new retail concept is a strategic more upmarket, luxury positioning of the Armani brand, whose presence worldwide is dominated by the more moderately priced Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans and Armani Exchange lines, most manufactures in Asia.
