Alila Hotels & Resorts, one of the most innovative boutique hotel groups renowned for their architecture, design and strict eco credentials, will launch three new properties in Autumn 2015. Alila Anji, the group’s first property in Zhejiang, China will open in September along with the much anticipated Alila Seminyak, their 5th property in Bali. Come October 2015, Alila Solo opens in Central Java, Indonesia asthe first luxury design hotel in the city.
Alila Seminyak, is located on Bali’s south west coast and cocooned along the region’s pristine beaches. Alila’s fifth property on Bali, Alila Seminyak, comprises of 240 contemporary styled rooms, as well as one spectacular penthouse, all embracing uber-cool and laid back style. The resort also offers a wealth of in-house facilities including Spa Alila offering Asian-inspired spa therapies, a gym and wellness centre, Leisure Concierge
to organise signature Alila Experiences and an open-kitchen restaurant with authentic Asian cuisine.
Alila Seminyak is the first resort in Indonesia to surpass the rigorous EarthCheck standards, achieving a 44-point best practice score against the industry norm of five points. The resort’s eco and energy solutions include the use of local and recyclable building materials, operating completely paperless and using their own bottled water. In addition, low energy light fixtures, rainwater harvesting, environmental and building management systems have been implemented.
Alila Solo, the second Alila property to open in September, is an urban resort and city retreat, located at the gateway of Solo close to the artistic hub of Java. The thriving artistic scene in Solo is reflected throughout the hotel, which comes complete with four amazing Alila suites, all with their own terraces and swimming pools. The hotel is also home to a rooftop terrace bar, with panoramic views of the city, from the temples and volcanoes through to the forest green. Alila Solo’s facilities include a restaurant, serving authentic Indonesia food with a modern European twist,
a Spa Alila with four treatment rooms, a gym, MICE facilities and a Kid’s Club.
Alila Anji, is the group’s first property to open in China. Situated on a hillside overlooking a lake, the resort is located in the heart of the Zhejiang province, surrounded by the pristine beauty of bamboo groves and white-tea plantations. As the location of the Oscar winning movie ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’, the area is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty thanks to over 60,000 hectares of bamboo groves, with over 40 different species found within the region. With pristine grounds and excellent frontage, the resort is designed to resemble a traditional Chinese
village with white exteriors and sweeping dark-tiled roofs. The resort features 74 stately villas and suites with elevated views across the lake, perfect for guests looking for quiet indulgence and fresh air. The first Spa Alila in China will be a destination within itself, with seven treatment rooms and an extensive menu of health, beauty and restorative treatments, including traditional Chinese Medicine.
Alila Hotel & Resorts currently have a further 19 new developments in the pipeline, all of which are due to open by 2018. Alila continues to expand with exciting new hotel and resort developments in key destinations, including Malaysia, China, India, Indonesia, Indochina and Oman.
