Aeffe Group (Moschino, Alberta Feretti) sales decline 7,4% in Q1 2014

Aeffe Group (Moschino, Pollini, Alberta Ferretti) archived the first quarter of 2014 with consolidated revenues in decline by 7.4% to 67.6 million euros. The profit was up 60% to 3.2 million.

The ready-to-wear totalled 52.7 million (-7.4%), while sales of footwear and leather goods division fell by 2.3% to 19.8 million euros.
The EBITDA of the company listed on the Star segment of the Italian Stock Exchange reached € 10.7 million, from 9.5 million in the first quarter of 2013. EBIT was EUR 7.7 million (+22%).

Debt fell to 88.3 million euros in Q1 2014 from 94.5 million euros at 31 March 2013 and from 88.6 million euros at December 31, 2013.

The group has a positive outlook based on the improvements brought by the new creative directors at Moschino and Ungaro, Jeremy Scott and Fausto Puglisi respectively.
