AEFFE Group and VERSACE to return to profit by the end of this year

Italian clothing and accessories group AEFFE, owner of Alberta Ferretti, Pollini and Moschino, confirmed that based on the double digit growth of order for the Fall 2011 collections, the group expects to end the year on profit. Aeffe Group licenses Jean Paul Galutier and Cacharel.

In an interview to WWD, VERSACE Group CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris said ”2011 was a great year !” adding ”We’ve recharged the company and we forsee a return to profit by the end of the year, despite economy” For 2012, Ferraris indicated that it will be an even more satisfying year, as the strategies he had set in motion are due to generate growth in 2012, from the creation of the Young Versace line and bringing back production of the Versus line in-house.
